Course Offerings: Science

A complete listing and description of all science courses can be found in MCC’s course descriptions. Students may select a full- or part-time plan of study and attend day, evening, weekend or online classes. Students may select from these courses to satisfy their general education core requirements or their associate degree program requirements.

Students who are interested in the sciences will often start their course work at MCC by enrolling in the college's Liberal Arts and Science associate of science degree program and then transfer into a bachelor of science degree program to continue their studies. Many MCC students transfer to the University of Connecticut or one of the state universities within Connecticut where admission is guaranteed to eligible students, but there are many other colleges and universities across the country that accept MCC credits.

If you are planning on transferring, please be sure to meet with your academic advisor to discuss how your selected courses transfer to other institutions. More information on the transfer options available at MCC can be found in the Transfer Services portion of the web site.
