If you are thinking of transferring to complete the requirements for a bachelor of arts degree in a major such as anthropology, history, political science, psychology or sociology, the college's Liberal Arts and Science associate in art degree or Liberal Arts and Science associate in science degree will prepare you well. The courses in these subject areas can also be used to satisfy a student's general education core requirements.
With an increasing number of students looking to continue their studies and receive a bachelor's degree, many students will start their course work at MCC because of its high quality instruction and more affordable tuition and fees. MCC has also developed excellent relationships with our neighboring college and university partners to ensure that our graduates are able to transfer the maximum number of credits toward their degree.
Students who are planning to transfer are encouraged to meet with their academic advisors or department chairs to discuss how MCC courses transfer to other institutions. More information on the transfer options available at MCC can be found in the Transfer Services portion of the web site.
Whatever your plans, the entire MCC professional community - its faculty, staff and support areas - is committed to preparing our students to succeed in the classroom, in the workplace and in society.
