Speakers' Bureau

What is the Speakers’ Bureau?

Since 1963, Manchester Community College has served the needs of its region through academic enrichment and community initiatives.  The college is pleased to continue this tradition by offering the MCC Speakers’ Bureau, a free community service that offers informative and timely programs and presentations for civic organizations, community groups, local schools and business organizations within the college’s service area.

If you are looking for a speaker for an upcoming event, MCC's knowledgeable faculty and staff volunteers can share information in their areas of expertise in a wide variety of subjects, including career exploration, changes in higher education, effective communications, communicating with people with disabilities, diversity, health and wellness, Black history and literature, business, art, culinary arts and many others.

How do I schedule a speaker?

First, choose a speaker by reviewing the selection by topic or speaker. It's helpful if you have a first, second, and even a third choice in the event your first choice is unavailable. Once you decide on a speaker, please complete the Speaker Request Form and you'll be contacted with a confirmation.

As your community college, MCC strives to provide a level of service that enhances the overall richness of its region.  For more information and scheduling, please contact Endia DeCordova at 860-512-2902 or email engage@manchestercc.edu.
