Veterinary Assistant Certificate Program

Do you love working with animals? Would you like to work in the animal care industry? Veterinary assistants provide care to animals in clinics, animal hospitals, zoos and animal shelters.

This 160-hour program is offered in two courses over two semesters:

  • Veterinary Assistant Certificate - Part I (80 hours)
  • Veterinary Assistant Certificate - Part II (80 hours)

These courses will prepare students for an entry-level position in veterinary health care and follows the National Association of Veterinary Technicians of America (NAVTA) guidelines for Veterinary Assistant Programs.
