    Theresa Wright, an R&B and Jazz Entertainer from CT, will perform various genres of music from the 1930's and 1940's. Theresa has performed for the Greater Hartford Jazz Festival and worked with artist such as Jaimoe from the Allman Brothers Band, as well as, the J. Giles Band.

    Last year marked the 25th anniversary of Mystery Science Theater 3000, the cult TV program about robots in space riffing on cheesy movies. In tribute to this cult favorite, we will screen the 1985 film "The Galaxy Invader". Schlock sci-fi at its best!

    JC and the Vipers is a classic rock and blues cover band. The band formed as a jam session and evolved into a good time rock and roll bar band, which now consists of Jim Choquette (lead vocals, harmonica, rhythm guitar), Andy "Frets" Hellmuth (lead guitar), Rob Greene (drums), Gil Flores (bass, vocals) and Bob Rustigan (keyboard, vocals).     College Goal Sunday

    At College Goal Sunday (CGS) participants will receive free, hands-on assistance in completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), and they will walk away with the satisfaction of knowing they have accomplished one of the biggest steps in getting ready to go to college. Connecticut’s CGS will take place at a number of accessible sites throughout the state, including Manchester Community College.

    Meditation Mondays: A Walk Through the Dehn Gallery

    Join Curator, Maura O'Connor, for a walk through the downtown, Dehn Gallery at MCC on Main. Maura will meet and greet community members, interested students, faculty and staff to talk about art, community and the role of art education in our society. She will briefly introduce the art show in the gallery: MCC Alumni Show, invite participants to view and contemplate the work, discuss any questions that arise and spend some quiet-time in the gallery setting.     Students interested in learning about the new Electronic Health Records Certificate Program are encouraged to attend an information session about the program. An Electronic Health Records Specialist works in the medical office, clinic, or information services/medical records division(s) of a hospital. The primary role is to maintain, collect, analyze and secure health information. All students are welcome to attend.
