Great Path Academy Groundbreaking Ceremony
Location: MCC
Raeanne Curtis, Commissioner of Public Works; Dr. Mark K. McQuillan, Commissioner of Education; Louise Berry, Chair of the Connecticut’s Community College Board of Trustees; Marc S. Herzog, Chancellor of the State of Connecticut’s Community College System; Bruce Douglas, Executive Director of CREC; Tom Danehy, Principal of Great Path Academy; Jonathan M. Daube, President of Manchester Community College; and a Great Path Academy student will participate in a brief ceremony and provide congratulatory remarks. This event is free and open to the public. Members of the community are asked to RSVP on or before September 28.

Great Path Academy at MCC is a middle college inter-district high school for students in grades ten, eleven and twelve. The school operates under the auspices of the Board of Trustees for the Community Colleges and is managed by Capitol Region Education Council, CREC.

MCC-NOLA Documentary Movie Premiere
Location: SBM Charitable Foundation Auditorium, AST
THe NOLA Documentary Movie Premiere is for students, faculty and staff and their families who attended the class and trip to New Orleans, participating in the rebuilding effort. Community members are welcome to attend, space permitting. Additional copies of the MCC-NOLA documentary will be available for loan from the MCC Learning Resource Center. Artwork and photography from the trip to New Orleans will be on display along the MCC-AST galleria walls during the month of October.
