MCC's mentoring programs Brother2Brother (B2B) and Sister2Sister (S2S) were established to address institutional concerns regarding the academic success rates of Hispanic and African American students. Volunteers from the Student Affairs division, faculty, and staff serve as mentors. Eight students who graduated last week received stoles at a B2B/S2S ceremony in honor of their participation and recognizing them as "life long members" of the network of Brothers and Sisters. The eight students are Jeremy Anderson, Tyler Boisette, Kevante Norwood, Anthony Sagay, Jenee Burrell, Dejahnee Davis, Mfoniso Ekpo and Jenny Garcia.
