MCC Student Chefs Work with Restaurateur Billy Grant on EoFW

Three MCC students enrolled in the college's award-winning culinary program have the honor of working with local celebrity chef Billy Grant to create and serve the menu for the 22nd annual Evening of Fine Wines, Friday, April 25, from 7 to 10 p.m.
Colleen Carbone, Delany Quinn and Peter Thompson are excited for what is certain to be a valuable educational as well as professional experience.
As Carbone, of Plantsville, Conn., pointed out: "I'm in the foodservice industry for the customers and their happiness. All of the hard work will pay off seeing the guests' reaction that night. Working with Billy Grant is a great opportunity and I am glad I get to have this experience."
Quinn, of Willington, Conn., agreed. "Working on the wine auction and with Billy Grant has been a real life experience of the ins and outs of the food service industry. The preparations can be difficult at times but, the end result is what makes this all worth it."
