Upcoming Events at Manchester Community College

Manchester, Connecticut-(April 24, 2012)…The following events will be held at Manchester Community College during the month of May:

Saturday, May 5, 8:00 a.m.- Le Tour de Valor, the 2nd Annual Veterans Scholarship Fundraiser to benegit veterans who are not eligible for GI Benefits and/or the CT Tuition Waiver. This is a bike ride with options for a 6- mile, 30- mile or 60- mile ride. Registration fee includes T-shirt and continental breakfast. Fee: $ 30, pre-reg; $35, ride day. Contact

Friday, May 18, 7 p.m.-International Film Series presents “Saving Private Perez (Mexico) in the SBM Charitable Foundation Auditorium.

Wednesday, May 30, 6:00 p.m.- The 22nd MCC Awards Ceremony will recognize outstanding MCC students in many areas. Invitation to attend is required. Contact .

Thursday, May 31, 5:30 p.m.- 48th MCC Commencement held at the Bicentennial Band Shell on the MCC campus.
