Marketing and Public Relations Department

Marketing and Public Relations provides the direction for most of the creative services work for Manchester Community College. The department is structured like an advertising agency with account executives assigned to each organizational unit of the college. These individuals work with administrators, faculty and staff, students, and outside vendors to produce print, video and interactive elements that achieve the strategic goals of the college.

The following services are provided to our clients:

How to Initiate a Job

Each unit of the college is assigned an account executive. In order to initiate a job order, please contact one of the following:

A convenient time will be arranged by the account executive to discuss the scope of your project with you. Be prepared to discuss the following aspects: background, audience, objective, message, medium, tone and image, deadline, budget and responsible parties. You will be guided by the account executive through a series of questions to best understand your needs and desired outcomes. These questions and their answers will then be used to create the Creative Brief , which will serve as the framework and provide direction for the development of the marketing plan. The Marketing team and the account executive will confer to confirm timelines, budgets, etc., and to assign and schedule the job.
