Job Seekers

Are You Looking for a New Job or Considering a Career Change?

What you can accomplish at our job fair could take days on your own. Our event allows for you and employers to talk freely without the stress of a formal interview. Employers often use this initial meeting to decide who to contact for a follow-up interview. This is your chance to gain a competitive edge in the recruiting process.

Need Assistance in Your Job Search?

It is strongly recommended that you have your resume reviewed prior to attending the job fair. This can provide constructive feedback, and also help you prepare for some questions that may arise at a job fair or an interview, particularly if you have gaps in your work history or work experience unrelated to your career objective. MCC Career Services staff offers resume reviews, by appointment only. Typically, a one to two week advanced notice is required.

How Should I Prepare for This Event?

Always dress as if you were going to an interview, but you may also come dressed in business casual. Jeans, shorts, tank tops, etc. are not recommended. Also, bring plenty of resumes, and visit all the recruiters at the event.
