Financial Aid and Veterans Affairs

Thank you for considering our college for your education. The Financial Aid Office makes every effort to assist students who enroll in eligible certificate or associate degree programs and need financial assistance. As director, my ongoing challenge is to try to provide as much insight and clarification via our website to those in need of financial aid.

Applying for financial aid is a very important process. My aim is to enhance your understanding of our financial aid programs, including our delivery process. We understand that your education is a significant investment for both you and your family. We hope that this website will ease the process of exploring the different financial aid options available to you.

MCC is approved for the training of veterans and for children of veterans under the appropriate chapter of Title 38, the United States code. Eligibility is determined by the Veterans Administration. In the Financial Aid Office and through the OASIS center, we provide assistance to veterans and their dependents who may be eligible for federal or state educational benefits gained through military service. Thank you for your service – we are proud to help you achieve your educational goals!

We are here to assist you so you can have access to the increased financial resources offered by our college, the state and the federal government. Our goals are to provide students and parents with support that enable them to pay for their education; and to participate actively in efforts to identify students' needs to help them find the means to address them.

We are looking forward to working closely with you in achieving your career goals. Good luck in your studies.

Sincerely,

Ivette Rivera-Dreyer,
Director of Financial Aid and Veterans Affairs
