If you would like E-Books

An E-Book is a digital version (CD) of a printed book. These can be read on personal computers (with a screen reader), or on hardware devices known as E-Book readers, or E-Book devices. Students who have difficulty reading printed books can benefit from the adjustment of text size, font face and audio imput. Text-to-speech software can be used to read E-Books to students automatically.

If you are a student at MCC and are interested in ordering E-Books, please follow these steps:

  1. Make an appointment to be assessed by an MCC Learning Disabilities Specialist:
    Gail Hammond - 860-512-3325
    Joan Kantor - 860-512-3346
If you cannot reach Gail or Joan, please contact Joseph Navarra at 860-512-3332.
  2. After the MCC Learning Disabilities Specialist has determined your eligibility for E-Books fill out an E-Book Request Form. You must fill out a separate form for every book you are requesting.
  3. When you have finished the form click submit at the bottom of the page and it will be sent to be processed.

If you have any questions about E-Books please contact Daryn Kjellquist (860-512-3314) or email at dkjellquist@mcc.commnet.edu.

To make an appointment, call Daryn Kjellquist (860-512-3314) or Carole Lewonczyk (860-512-3303).
